Meet Tanner Holly, a dedicated owner at Navis Yacht Group, combining a lifetime of seafaring experience with an unwavering love for boats. Originating from northern New Jersey, Tanner's roots in hunting and fishing, as he spent his early years, growing up aboard beloved vessels like the 48 Ritchie Howell and 44 Henriques Sportfish.
Transitioning from captaining a 66-foot Viking to co-founding a brokerage felt like a natural progression, combining his expertise with an enduring affection for the ocean. Tanner's passion for billfish tournaments along the East Coast, where the thrill of the chase converges with a genuine admiration for the water. Now, as a co-owner at Navis Yacht Group, Tanner seeks to leverage his extensive knowledge to match every customer with their ideal boat, considering their unique needs, desires, lifestyle, and budget. That's the essence of the Navis way.
Brett was raised in Palm Beach and has grown up around the water traveling to the Florida Keys and the Bahamas. Brett attended school at Maritime Academy and began running and working on boats at the age of 15. A year later, he started a marine detailing business, which he has brought up to a full-service yacht management company, also working as a yacht broker.
Living on Long Beach Island on the Jersey Shore, Nick Perello has focused all aspects of his life around the water. Nick is actively engaged in the fishing and boating community of Beach Haven where he is the Angling Chairman of the Beach Haven Marlin and Tuna Club along with co-running the Beach Haven Charter Fishing Association’s Junior Mate Program. His other time is occupied by being a charter captain and freelance captain/mate, participating in fishing tournaments along the East Coast.
Madison O’Donnell was born in the suburbs of Philadelphia, while summering in Cape May New Jersey. Being raised on the water and surrounded by a father and grandfather who shared their immense love for fishing, it was bound to be in her genes. During the summer months Madison has the chance to fish tournaments from the Abaco, Bahamas to Cape May and is currently on the tournament committee at the Cape May Marlin Tuna Club.
Jim began fishing at an early age in Cape May, New Jersey. As a teenager, he worked as a mate on several boats throughout South Jersey, gaining invaluable experience on the water. Eventually, he began running various vessels out of the Cape May area, specializing in offshore day and overnight tuna trips.
In addition to his time on the water, Jim developed a strong technical background—working as an electrician, construction equipment operator, and diesel mechanic throughout high school and college. He earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Widener University, followed by a master’s degree in engineering from Villanova University. Despite the academic and professional workload, Jim continued to fish both as a mate and as a captain on boats up and down the East Coast, from South Jersey to Florida.
With over 35 years of experience on the saltwater tournament fishing trail, Jim has built an extensive knowledge base in marine construction, propulsion systems, vessel systems, and safety technologies across a range of saltwater boats—from small center consoles to large sportfishing yachts. He holds a USCG 100 GT Master Captain’s License.
Jim is the proud owner and captain of Covert Mission, a highly competitive vessel frequently seen on the leaderboard at the most prestigious billfish tournaments along the East Coast and in the Bahamas.
Known for his integrity and deep-rooted passion for boating and fishing, Jim delivers an unmatched experience during the boat selection process.
